Starfall of talent

On March 23, a talent show took place on the stage of the large assembly hall of the main building of KRSU «Finest hour».

According to good tradition, the Faculty of Medina had the honor of opening the concert; the other faculties did not stand aside and picked up the creative baton.

A large program was presented to the audience – young talents performed songs, dances, and read poems. The students approached the cultural event responsibly – the preparation took several months. And the result pleasantly surprised the jury members and numerous spectators! The students' performance went off with a bang; no one in the hall remained indifferent after the concert.

Festival «Finest hour» it originated in the mid-90s of the last century, replacing the youth festival that previously existed in our country «Vesna Ala-Too». Since then, it has remained an important way to identify student talents, bringing them not only to the university, but also to the republican, and even foreign, stage!

So by this day, the future doctors, despite their traditional workload with studying, took it very seriously, in which, again according to tradition, the leading employee of the dean’s office, Chinara Nagoybaeva, contributed to them. Usually the academic large assembly hall was festively (in Nooruz style) decorated in the morning; students and female students delighted the eye with their youth, smiles, and colorful outfits.

The tone of the concert program was set by our nice presenters – Arina Pudovkina and Abdykerimov Ali Akper Hassan, who already have repeated experience in stage performances. And at the moment of the festival start, they decided not to limit themselves to prose, but immediately addressed the audience with a poetic «spire», presenting to the audience a high jury consisting of Honored Cultural Worker Vladimir Tulin, choreographer Evgeny Prokopenko and artist of the Russian Drama Theater named after. CH. Aitmatov Stanislav Kasyanov, and then inviting two first-year music musicians Zhedigerova Zhanylai and Zhanyshbek kyzy Benazir onto the stage, who gave the audience a cheerful mood with their performance of the famous melody «Mash Botoy».

The fiery play on the comus was replaced by the gentle girlish duet of Anastasia Tankova and Ayana Arzykulova, who performed beautifully (don’t take it as a tautology!) song «Beautiful».

Next, the microphone passed to the poetess, 3rd year student Valeria Ovchinnikova, who addressed her colleagues with her author’s poems «Add beauty». And she succeeded quite well!

The choreography of the medical faculties was also always held in high esteem, which was confirmed by 1st and 2nd year students of specialties «medical work» and «pediatrics», performing «Andijan polka» incomparably!

Following this, the guitar duet consisting of Bayaman Myrzabekov and Dias Saldarbekov pleased us all with a sincere Kyrgyz song «Begimai».

After another vocal number, performed not by a duet, but by a quartet, something was heard that was especially gratefully received by young people – a humorous dialogue skit in poetry of their own composition, performed by the authors – Alexander Kim and Valeria Kiyashko. The audience greeted them with laughter and generous applause, immediately switching to the song «Rolling in the deep» performed by Alina Kylychbekova, Bayaman and Diaz, already known to you, as well as Said Mochanov.

Not a single evening of the Faculty of Medicine is complete without a hot lezginka, usually performed by representatives of the specialty «dentistry», which we jokingly call Caucasian. This time, the immortal dance of the mountaineers was performed by the future dentist Miralam Guliyev and Kristina Dubchinskaya.

And the team of 1-3 year students of the LD and PD specialties showed excellent modern rhythmic dance.

After the song «Weapons» performed by seven vocalists, a reason for good laughter again appeared. This time it was presented to those present by Pavel Oseledko and Violetta Tashmatova, artistically playing the famous sketch song «Everything is fine, beautiful marquise!..».

The Kyrgyz national dance «Kara-Georgo» was performed absolutely brilliantly by charming 1-2 year students of all 3 specialties, which was facilitated by colorful outfits borrowed by the faculty from our old friend – Exemplary Children's Musical Theater «Taberik».

Well, then exotic India reigned on the stage! Our students, who arrived from this ancient and at the same time ultra-modern country, but had already adapted well to Bishkek, first stirred the audience with a cascade of their rhythmic male, female and mixed dances, then encouraged them with an Indian song «Tere Mitti» performed by a 5th year student Shivani Shetty and, finally, an inspired poem «Doctor» read by a Ganham Sai student.

Their competition block ended again with a dance performed by this year’s freshmen.

Towards the end of the program, we saw those who had long been included in the category of stars of the medical faculty. Sixth-year student Omurbek Akmatbekov delighted us with his singing, and the instrumental duet «violin, piano) of Adelina Zhusipova and Bermet Tugolova touched us with the melody »Secret Garden.

The first festival performance ended with a collective performance by all participants of a popular youth song, wittily remade by young people on the themes of student life, their native university and faculty, to the end of which the usual chant was heard: «We guys are great – medical faculty!»
