Gastroenterologist, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Therapy №1 of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Nurgul Toktogulova spoke about the prevention and treatment of intestinal pathologies.
In the "Special Emphasis" program on Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, she emphasized that the intestines are an important organ of the digestive system.
«It is in the intestines that food chewed and processed in the stomach is converted into substances understandable to the body — amino acids, carbohydrates, proteins, minerals and vitamins that are absorbed into the blood. That is, essentially the condition of the entire body depends on the health of the intestines. For example, with poor digestion, insufficient peristalsis and the so-called «dirty» intestines, a person develops not only allergies, but also other serious pathologies», — said Toktogulova.
