What young people think about Kyrgyzstan's membership in the EAEU
KRSU students Ruslan Sadirdinov and Nurislam Imaraliev explained why it is important for Kyrgyzstan to be a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, and leaving it would be a very bad idea.
On Sputnik radio, Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Sadirdinov noted that he sometimes encounters statements on social networks that the republic should leave the EAEU and cooperate more actively with Europe.
«In my opinion, such ideas can be called crazy, because when establishing relationships with partners, you need to take into account the historical aspect. After all, initially the countries of Eurasia were our main partners; it was with them that Kyrgyzstan always actively cooperated. Yes, there are certain barriers in the EAEU, but this is a normal process, because the union was created not very long ago. In addition, the political structure of the participating countries is quite different», – the student said.
Nurislam Imaraliev shares this opinion.
«I believe that the EAEU is a vital union for Kyrgyzstan, since integration itself has become the driving force of our economy», – the future diplomat emphasized.
