Give me the day of Lake Issyk-Kul!

The blue of the sky, the abyss of the lake and the clouds and snow-capped mountains reflected in it. The attitude towards Issyk-Kul as the sacred eye of the Earth still lives among the people. Elderly people ask their children to bring them to touch the lake and wash their faces and hands.

 

But our dashing businessmen and nouveau riche are building up Issyk-Kul to the extreme, cutting down thickets of jarganak, and trying to push an endless number of tourists onto the shores of the lake. All this leads to great pollution of the coast and water. What needs to be done to protect and save nature?

 

KRSU student of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction Anna Tiro originally from Karakol. She is a student of a public youth volunteer organization «Leadership». Since childhood, he and the children, under the guidance of Anastasia Stytsenko, learned not only to talk about problems, but also to do important things. Anna won a grant at the competition of youth initiatives at the international forum Eurasia Global from the Gorchakov Foundation in Russia.
