Denis Fomin-Nilov spoke about the reasons for leaving the acting post. Rector of KRSU
Denis Fomin-Nilov said 24.kg on the reasons for leaving the post of acting rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
According to him, he has worked in this position for just over a year — since September 12, 2023.
«The appointment of the acting rector is recorded in an intergovernmental agreement ratified in February 2024. The first person of the university is appointed by the authorized body from the Russian side — by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Accordingly, it is the prerogative and right of the ministry to decide who is the first person in the KRSU. The change of leadership is being carried out on the initiative of our employer, Minister Valery Falkov. This is his absolute right», — said Denis Fomin-Nilov.
