Russia and Kyrgyzstan – close partners and allies. Our cooperation is comprehensive. Today, thanks to common efforts, a rich dialogue has been established at the highest level, aimed at achieving practical results; through ministries and departments, ties between the peoples of Russia and Kyrgyzstan are expanding and strengthening.
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) named after the first President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin is called upon to play a leading role in the development of educational cooperation. The implementation of joint projects of KRSU in the field of education with Russian organizations is carried out in accordance with 83 cooperation agreements. Special attention in the work of KRSU is paid to the development of the Russian language in Kyrgyzstan. In 2022, the university organized 22 scientific and educational events to promote the Russian language, in which teachers took part and school students from all regions of the country. Particular attention is paid to the issues of advanced training of Russian language teachers in Kyrgyz schools – in 2022, 470 teachers attended the programs.
