Two patients were saved from imminent death by surgeons from Russia and Kyrgyzstan

The operations were jointly carried out by the director of the Institute of Surgery and Oncology of the Volga Research Medical University of the Russian Ministry of Health, Professor Vladimir Zagainov, and the head of the Department of Hospital Surgery of the KRSU, Professor Bakhadyr Bebezov.

 

One of them for extensive liver resection with resection of the great vessels and bile ducts in general, the rarest even in world surgery was carried out in our country for the first time. The operation lasted several hours and was successful.
