EDB provided funding for the development of the institutional environment for public-private partnerships in Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek, April 16, 2025. The EDB, in partnership with the PPP Center under the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter —PPP Center) and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (hereinafter —KRSU), began implementing a project to develop the institutional PPP environment with the financial support of the EDB Technical Assistance Fund. As part of the EDB FCS project, a number of activities are planned, the implementation of which will ensure building the capacity of the public sector in PPP and reducing the shortage of qualified specialists in the field of PPP in the country, which is extremely important in the context of the growing pipeline of PPP projects in Kyrgyzstan.
