EAEU – window of opportunity for modern youth
Students from leading universities in Kyrgyzstan took part in the discussion on the topic «EAEU – window of opportunity for modern youth», organized by the «Eurasians – New Wave» Foundation. The participants analyzed the opportunities and prospects of the EAEU for young Kyrgyzstanis, and also discussed a number of problems that impede the closest integration.
Kuanyshbek Mykyev, student of KRSU named after. B. Yeltsin: «In matters of youth policy, the activities of the EAEU are not limited only to economic processes, such as, for example, employment in one of the union republics or obtaining higher education there. There is also social and humanitarian cooperation aimed at expanding contacts and connections between educational institutions, business communities, youth organizations, NGOs, and government bodies of the member countries of the association».
Alibek Utemisov, student of KRSU named after. B. Yeltsin: «Kyrgyzstan does not have a large resource base. Industry, like all budget-forming areas of our economy, is poorly developed. To blame for everything – corruption, years of family-clan rule and nepotism.
In search of the best for themselves and their families, our compatriots have to migrate to Russia, where the highest standard of living is among the CIS countries. We have a common past, so we don't face a language barrier».
