The Faculty of International Relations of KRSU is 25 years old. How it all began

Angelina Inyushina. Bishkek – Sputnik. The Faculty of International Relations of KRSU celebrates its 25th anniversary. A Sputnik Kyrgyzstan correspondent asked its dean and head of one of the departments about the history of the emergence of the FMO.

The Faculty of International Relations of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was created in 1994. For the first time in the republic, it began training specialists in the field of international journalism, as well as world cultures and religions. In addition, it has departments of international relations, political science, world languages, national economy and regional development.

Students prepared a festive concert for the 25th anniversary of the faculty. The event was opened by the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Vladimir Nifadiev.

«Our graduates are hired first. After studying at the Faculty of International Relations, the guys go to work in the ministries of foreign affairs of different countries and various international organizations. Everyone needs you, so we want real specialists to graduate from our university, because the main criteria of KRSU are  the quality of education of graduates and their demand» nifadiev said.
