The event brought together representatives of 65 Russian and Kyrgyz universities that are members of consortia of technical, medical and agricultural universities, as well as the business community of the two countries, including the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. Over the course of two days, more than 20 seminars, master classes and round tables are planned. The main topic of the forum is the contribution of universities in Russia and Kyrgyzstan to the development of the economy and society, as well as practical cooperation through consortia of technical, medical and agricultural universities.
Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Pavel Shevtsov moderated the round table «Russian language and participation in network educational programs as tools for successful studies and careers».
He noted:
«Every year, 700 Kyrgyz students come to Russia under the Russian government quota to study at leading universities. We are trying to expand these opportunities, taking into account new areas — artificial intelligence, IT, biotechnology, social sciences.
