Art and Culture of India – an exhibition opened at KRSU
Visitors were able to see photographs demonstrating the rich cultural traditions of the Indian people, national clothing, sculptures and everyday objects of Indians.
BISHKEK, March 26 — Sputnik. A photo exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Indian independence has opened at KRSU, the embassy’s press service reports.
The opening of the exhibition «Art and Life in India» took place as part of the Year of Cultural Exchange between India and Kyrgyzstan. The event was attended by the Ambassador of India to the Kyrgyz Republic Alok A. Dimri and the Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Vladimir Nifadiev.
Visitors were able to see photographs demonstrating the rich cultural traditions of the Indian people, national clothing, sculptures and everyday objects of Indians. Guests were also shown cultural performances performed by Indian, Kyrgyz and Russian artists.
