Sergei Volkov has been appointed acting rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU), who will take office on October 14.
"Acting Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin (KRSU) appointed Sergey Yuryevich Volkov," the message said.
According to Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education and Science Konstantin Mogilevsky, the ministry pays special attention to the development of KRSU. "It is fundamentally important that citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic have the opportunity to receive education according to the highest Russian standards without leaving their homeland," the deputy minister said.
