Historical international online teleconference – at Belgorod State University
An international online teleconference was held at the National Research University «BelSU» with the presentation of a collection of documentary essays «Front Roads of People's Deputies» by the Vice-Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B.N. Yeltsin Leonid Sumarokov.
The teleconference was timed to coincide with the Year of Memory and Glory and the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The meeting was moderated by the director of the Center for Civil-Patriotic Education of University Students, Inna Kuznetsova, who said that the book reveals an unknown page in the activities of deputies of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR of the first convocation (1938) – their participation in the Great Patriotic War. The essays are based on a scientific study of previously unexplored archival materials. The collection describes examples of dedication and courage of people's representatives on the battle fronts, including during the Battle of Kursk.
– Our dialogue – is a tribute to the respect and memory of all the peoples of the former Soviet Union who fought for the freedom and independence of a united Motherland and liberated the world from fascism, – noted Inna Vyacheslavovna.
The teleconference connected the city of Belgorod, with. Kasilovo, Grayvoronsky District, and the capital of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan – city of Bishkek. Participants in the Victory Teleconference from the Belgorod region were assistant of the section of Russian history of the department of general history of the Faculty of History and Philology of the Pedagogical Institute of the National Research University «BelSU» Maria Rudneva, chairman of the Victory Volunteers of the National Research University «BelSU», student of the Law Institute Alina Turubarova, chairman of the student council of the Center for Civil-patriotic education of students university, law student Anna Repnikova, press secretary of the Belgorod branch of the Russian Union of Veterans, reserve captain Valeria Golous, senior Researcher at the Belgorod State Historical and Art Museum – dioramas «Battle of Kursk. Belgorod direction» Alexander Kadira and deputy director of MBOU «Kosilovskaya secondary school» of the Grayvoronsky district Natalya Matchina.
On the part of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the meeting was attended by the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B.N. Yeltsin, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Vladimir Nifadiev, Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations, author of a collection of documentary essays «Front Roads of People's Deputies» Leonid Sumarokov, as well as the head of the republican movement «Victory Volunteers of the KRSU named after B.N. Yeltsin» Nasiba Eshmuratova and representatives of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
