Historians managed to find out the names of Kyrgyzstanis who died in the Brest Fortress

An exhibition with previously unpublished data "They covered their lives with themselves" was opened at the National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event is dedicated to the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The exhibition was created on the basis of research into documentary materials from the archives of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, conducted by KRSU employee, candidate of historical sciences Leonid Sumarokov. The exhibition also presents front-line and memorial relics from the funds of the National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic. More details
