The new acting rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU), Denis Fomin-Nilov, was supposed to come to the republic 12 years ago to the School of Young Historians, which was held in Issyk-Kul with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States. It didn't work out. I received only admiring reviews from colleagues about the republic itself, and about the lake, and about the level of qualifications of Kyrgyz academicians and doctors of science.

At the beginning of this summer, Denis Valerievich still had a chance to visit our area. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation sent him as a member of the Russian Historical Society and deputy chairman of the All-Russian Association of History Teachers and the Society of Knowledge to the KRSU conduct a methodological seminar with teachers teaching history and social studies disciplines. And then she even offered to head the university.

Fomin-Nilov visited the Central Asian representative office «Russian newspaper» and he told what the future awaits the university under the rector-historian.
