How a place on a map affects the wealth of a country – about the economy and more

The guest and presenters of the program «About the Economy and not only with Kubat Rakhimov» discussed the differences in the well-being of countries regarding their geographical location.

 

Many factors influence the well-being of the state, but location often plays a key role. Statistically, the richest countries are in temperate climates, while tropical countries rarely boast a high level of economy. It is the same with distance from the sea: most rich countries are connected with it not only geographically, but also historically. Now the overwhelming majority of cargo traffic passes along sea routes, but this was not always the case.

 

In conversation on radio Sputnik Kyrgyzstan KRSU professor, academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Murat Suyunbaev emphasized that during the Great Silk Road, the territory of Central Asia was perhaps the most developed region in the world.
