A climatologist told how the new laboratory can help fight smog in the Kyrgyz Republic
Last week, a mobile laboratory for monitoring environmental safety and technical condition of transport was presented at KRSU. The developers are confident that the new technology will help carry out the necessary measurements to understand how to deal with smog in Bishkek.
In a conversation on Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, climatologist, associate professor of the Department of Meteorology, Ecology and Environmental Protection of KRSU Andrey Podrezov said that the new laboratory is capable of measuring both the degree of environmental pollution by a specific car and how the level of air pollution changes in different areas of the city.
