The official event took place, as expected, in the university assembly hall, and in the evening a colorful performance took place on the square in front of the entrance to the university. Passers-by could easily talk to Evgeny Onegin, invite Tatyana or Olga Larina to dance, shake Ruslan’s hand, and even confess their love to Lyudmila.
