The International Historical School was held at KRSU «»Common history as a resource for joint development of Russia and the CIS countries». Scientists from Commonwealth countries, as well as undergraduate and graduate students from 16 countries took part in it.
On the air of Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, Tatyana Kotyukova, head of the Central Asian history sector of the 19th-20th centuries at the Institute of General History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said that historical memory seems something unshakable, although in fact it is «susceptible to corrosion».
