Koichuev: there is a catastrophic shortage of Russian language teachers in Kyrgyzstan
The head of the Department of History and Theory of Literature of KRSU, Bakhtiyar Koichuev, explained why there was a problem of shortage of teachers of Russian language and literature in schools in Kyrgyzstan.
Days of Russian Language and Culture were held in Bishkek, organized by the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the Russian State University for the Humanities. On November 18-19, photo exhibitions and lectures by teachers from Russia dedicated to the development of the Russian language were held at KRSU.
In a conversation on Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, Bakhtiyar Koichuev noted that the demand for teaching in Russian is growing in Kyrgyzstan.
