University representatives presented students with stands for the Russian language classroom.
BISHKEK, February 3 – Sputnik. The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin launched the Year of the Russian Language in schools in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the university reported.
KRSU students and teachers visited the school № 3 Kant. The students were presented with stands for the Russian language and literature classroom. A few days earlier, the same stands were transferred to two Bishkek schools, three sets went to schools in the Osh region. The schoolchildren were presented with a set of books published at the university from the series «Eurasian creators» and «Feat of Kyrgyzstan 1941-1945.».
Teachers and school management have repeatedly noted that the stands given to them, reflecting national, cultural and historical realities, «they have become a reliable help in organizing the educational process, as they provide students with the opportunity to take a fresh look at the Russian language and serve as an effective tool for achieving practical, general education and development goals».
With the help of these stands, classrooms are equipped in schools in the Chui, Issyk-Kul, Osh regions, in the cities of Razzakov, Kadamdzhai, Tash-Kumyr, Nookat, Naryn, and the village of Tepka in the Issyk-Kul region. In total, 18 schools in the country were covered during the implementation of the project. Stands are awarded as incentives to schools participating in competitions and olympiads organized by KRSU.
«About 500 schools in Kyrgyzstan are involved in events initiated by the university in the field of the Russian language. Kant School № 3 is particularly active. This work will continue; it allows us to strengthen business ties with teachers of Russian language, literature and schoolchildren», — writes the press service.
After equipping the classrooms with stands, the university will hold an online meeting with teachers. They will discuss plans for working together.
