The university is exempt from all types of inspections for three years, and will also be able to "generate finances not only from contracts, but also from scientific activities.".

BISHKEK, March 27 — Sputnik. The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University has received a special status, the university’s press service reports.

On 20 March, President Sadyr Japarov amended the Decree "On measures to increase the potential and competitiveness of higher professional education organizations in the Kyrgyz Republic" dated 18 July 2022. The changes were made in order to consolidate financial, material and intellectual resources, increase the potential and competitiveness of government organizations of higher professional education in the global market of educational services. This provides an opportunity to improve the quality of education, strengthen its role in the socio-economic development of the country, increase the prestige and international competitiveness of Kyrgyz universities, and also helps strengthen cooperation in education between the Kyrgyz Republic and Russia.
