KRSU received a special status. What does this mean?
Sadyr Japarov amended the Decree "On measures to increase the potential and competitiveness of educational organizations of higher professional education of the Kyrgyz Republic" dated July 18, 2022 №243. This was reported by the press service of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU).
"Thus, KRSU becomes one of the few universities that has a special status. This change gives the Kyrgyz Republic the opportunity to improve the quality of education, strengthen its role in the country's socio-economic development, and increase the prestige and international competitiveness of Kyrgyz universities. It also contributes to strengthening cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation in the field of education. The leadership of Kyrgyzstan and Russia attaches special importance to the issue of development of KRSU," the university noted.
