For the first time, the Ministry of Science of the Russian Federation appointed a special representative for Russian-national universities. This was Nikolai Kudryavtsev — now he will oversee the work of four joint universities in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Belarus and Armenia. Bishkek was chosen as the permanent place of work, because KRSU — is the first and largest Slavic university in the region.
