Where to go this year? The ranking of universities in Kyrgyzstan will help you (interview)
The EdNet agency compiled the first national ranking of higher education institutions Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Minister of Education Rasul Abazbek uulu told how this study took place.
"is this the first study of the quality of universities?"
- Yes. This is the first national study and the first such ranking of higher educational organizations. Kyrgyzstan did not previously have its own national rating. In this regard, last year the Ministry of Education announced a competition to select research agencies to compile such a rating. The EdNet agency was selected. We signed a memorandum stating that the ministry would not interfere in this study.
A huge amount of work has been done. Since this is the first such study, the agency developed a number of documents, because it was necessary to provide a regulatory framework. A regulation on the national rating, a research methodology, and instructions for its implementation were developed. A commission was also created, which included deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, experts, representatives of the ministry, the media and other parties. In this way, objectivity was ensured when conducting the study.
