Cult of knowledge of national languages
«Rhythm of Eurasia», Olga Sumarokova, 10/01/2020 – The cross year 2020 of Russia and Kyrgyzstan is marked by many memorable and anniversary dates of cultural and civilizational significance. One of them – the formation in 1870 in Tashkent of a special commission chaired by the clerk of a special branch of the Office of the Governor-General M.I. Brodovsky. The minutes of its first meeting became the starting point in the creation of a pro-Russian school education system in Central Asia.
Represented by three types of schools – primary (parish, parochial, agricultural, Russian-native schools and literacy schools), secondary (gymnasiums and pro-gymnasiums), as well as city schools according to the regulations of 1872, – it met the interests of the migrant and local people, pursuing only one goal – «to develop the economic side of the population, its citizenship and solidarity...»
