A cultural code that unites peoples
Rossiyskaya Gazeta - Week - Kyrgyzstan № 297(8351), Dmitry Evlashkov (Bishkek) – Does official status help preserve the Russian language in Kyrgyzstan? What is the country's authorities and public doing for this? How does «the great and mighty» feel today in the land of Manas? Participants in the scientific and practical conference «Russian language in Kyrgyzstan: past, present and future», held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University at the Russian Language Institute of KRSU, were looking for answers to these questions. The conference brought together offline and online more than 70 scientists, politicians, school principals, representatives of public associations, students and undergraduates of universities in Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
