The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in Bishkek received a special status
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) was given a special status. The change occurred as part of a decree on increasing the capacity of the country's universities. The new status will allow the university to improve the quality of education, increase prestige and strengthen international competitiveness.
The rector of KRSU noted that the university will also be able to independently manage its property and attract investments for modernization.
