The legendary Panfilov division celebrated its anniversary

july 12 marked the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the formation of the 316th Infantry Division, later named the 8th Guards Division after Major General I.V. Panfilova. Even after so many years, it continues to unite several peoples of the former Soviet republics with historical memory. In Bishkek, a solemn celebration of the anniversary was held by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
