«Our country has strong habits associated with excessive salt intake. This was once again confirmed by research we conducted with the support of WHO: national drinks and products, including home-made ones, are oversaturated with it. For example, one liter of drinks such as bozo, chalap and others contains twenty grams of salt. While the permissible daily dose is no more than five grams, that is, a person only receives as much salt when drinking a drink as he should consume within four days. And besides this, he eats other foods and again with a high salt content. Thus, he gradually, seemingly even imperceptibly, destroys his heart and body as a whole», – she said in an interview VB.KG doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of KRSU Tursun Mamyrbaeva.
