Scale of work and training in fact-checking – impressions of a student from the Kyrgyz Republic from SputnikPro
BISHKEK, August 25 – Sputnik, Mikhail Vorobyov. From August 21 to 25 in the media group building «Russia today» the fourth series of master classes took place «SputnikPro on Zubovsky».
Journalists and bloggers from Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan had the opportunity to expand their knowledge for free by exchanging experiences with some of the best specialists in the Russian media sphere.
Media group employees told guests about working with social networks, neural networks, drones and virtual reality. Listeners also learned about the features of creating photo and video content and writing headlines.
Thanks to «SputnikPro on Zubovsky» KRSU student Altynai Orozalieva visited the Russian capital for the first time. She has recently been working at Sputnik Kyrgyzstan and was glad to have the opportunity to communicate with the professional team of the media group.
«I'm shocked by the scale of the office. It's impossible to believe that so many employees are busy here... It was especially interesting to know how Russian colleagues check the accuracy of incoming information. Of course, everyone is wrong, but in Kyrgyzstan it seems to happen more often than here. Fact-checking – what we can learn from you», – Altynai said in a conversation with a Sputnik correspondent.
