An international conference dedicated to the feat of Panfilov’s men was held in Bishkek
The event participants emphasized that in modern conditions it is necessary to resist the falsification of the history of the Great Patriotic War.
BISHKEK, 2 Dec – Sputnik. An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the heroism of Panfilov’s soldiers near Moscow in 1941 was held in Bishkek. The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs named after K. Dikambaev, where the conference was held.
Candidate of Historical Sciences, Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations of the KRSU Leonid Sumarokov spoke about the participation of deputies of the first convocation of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR in the defense of Moscow.
