An international forum on the topic of the Russian language is taking place in Bishkek
The International Scientific Forum «Russian language and science of the 21st century: problems, achievements, prospects» began working in Bishkek, reports Sputnik . The organizers are the Russian State Humanitarian University (RGGU) and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU).
The forum was headed by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Efim Pivovar and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan Vladimir Nifadiev.
The two-day programme consists of strategic sessions devoted to discussing educational practices. An important topic will be cooperation between the two countries in the scientific field and the development of interaction between universities. Forum participants will also raise the topic of joint projects with the participation of Russian language teachers abroad.
Guests from Russia will conduct a series of master classes. Local scientists will present their experience in teaching the Russian language. Ways to solve the problems facing Russian studies and humanitarian knowledge today will be discussed.
Based on the results of the event, KRSU and the Russian State University for the Humanities will sign an agreement on a scientific and educational project «Center for Eurasian Studies», which will lay the foundations for organizing joint research and educational practices in the field of Eurasian integration.
