BISHKEK, October 12 – Sputnik. Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva at a panel discussion at the KRSU «Slavic University – 2050: perspectives and priorities» she noted the importance of the Russian language in the country.
«The Russian minister and I today discussed the future of the university. It must be dynamic and include all levels of education. The fact is that Kyrgyzstanis have a huge need to know the Russian language. There are more than 200 schools in the country with Russian as the language of instruction, and many private schools also teach in Russian. But, unfortunately, we do not have a center for advanced training or training specifically for these schools», – kendirbaeva said.
