Young people from Eurasian countries discuss strengthening ties at a congress in Kyrgyzstan

The International Youth Analytical Congress «Youth in Greater Eurasia: potential, risks, security, cooperation» opens in Kyrgyzstan. The organizers of the meeting, aimed at developing cooperation between Eurasian countries, were universities and other organizations from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, reports the website of the Boris Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. 

 

The congress, aimed at strengthening youth ties between Eurasian countries, is held with the participation of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), the Institute of Demographic Research of the Federal Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Russian Foreign Ministry and other organizations.

 

The meeting in Kyrgyzstan, which will last until September 17, continues the global agenda set by congresses in Moscow in 2010 and Minsk last year. At these large-scale analytical forums, issues of integration and strengthening cooperation between Eurasian states in the economy, innovation, science, and culture were discussed.

 

Following the results of the congress, they plan to adopt a resolution and memorandum on the development of interaction between the youth of universities in the CIS countries.
