On the Tien Shan border: unknown pages of the battle against fascism

Tracing the fate of Kyrgyz border guards, the author reveals the pages of the harsh border service on the Tien Shan – in a corner of the Soviet country far from the main line of the fight against fascism during the Great Patriotic War. Unknown evidence of the dedication and patriotism of the Soviet people, cited in scientific work, will undoubtedly be that reliable source of filling the space of historical memory that will serve to counter attempts to falsify the history of the Second World War.
