How is your relationship with Vyshkin students?
At the very beginning, other students from KRSU and I were worried: how would the local guys perceive us? But we started listening to lectures, preparing for seminars, and we have already become bolder. Some guys from the third year we go to the same classes and have already remembered each other. From the first days, when we ask something, they respond with pleasure, show it, and advise. I noticed that all the guys at HSE are erudite, literate, and actively involved in their studies. This subconsciously motivates you to try harder too.
What points did you pay attention to in terms of study?
We have a heavy study workload here, and we were worried whether we could handle it. About a month after the start of the semester, we adapted: we understood how classes were conducted and how grades were given.
It is important not to miss classes and actively participate: interact with the teacher, ask questions of interest. At first we were afraid, but all the teachers are friendly and open, and will answer all questions.
In general, teachers and students at HSE are equal. I like that when a teacher expresses his opinion, the student can say that he does not agree and give his arguments.
However, in order to form their opinion, students need to work through a lot of additional literature for seminars. Preparing for classes takes a lot of time, but it is very interesting.
