Our history
The turn of the 19th – 20th centuries became a unique period in the history of the languages of the peoples of Central Asia, which radically turned the tide of their development. It took progressive representatives of the Russian intelligentsia only half a century to realize their integration significance and bring them to a new qualitative stage of development. The phenomenon of an officer of the Russian Imperial Army – the author of the first scientific monuments of the living languages of Turkestan played a huge role in this process.
