A historian spoke about the heroic participation of Kyrgyzstanis in the Battle of Stalingrad
Candidate of Historical Sciences, Vice-Rector of the KRSU Leonid Sumarokov told what contribution the residents of the Kyrgyz SSR made to the victory in the Second World War.
In a conversation on Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, Sumarokov said that one of the deputies of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR commanded a division that participated in the offensive operation during the Battle of Stalingrad.
