Schools in the regions of the republic were given a batch of textbooks, teaching aids and materials on the Russian language and literature. The leadership of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) presented a useful gift.

The first to receive gifts were three educational institutions that were active at events organized by KRSU in order to popularize the Russian language in the regions of Kyrgyzstan: school N5 in the city of Kara-Balta, school named after Kazybay Chylabaev in the village of Barskoon, Jeti-Oguz district, Issyk-Kul region, boarding school N11 named after Valentina Tereshkova in the city of Osh.

We will be happy to take part in new projects aimed at popularizing the Russian language and literature in schools.

–In 2021, our university held many events aimed at popularizing the Russian language in the regions of the country, – emphasized the rector of KRSU Vladimir Nifadiev. – Among them – a youth educational festival dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Fyodor Dostoevsky, quizzes and competitions of essays, book trailers, drawings dedicated to Russian literature and Russia.
