Online exhibition «Front roads of people's deputies»
A virtual exhibition «Front Roads of People's Deputies» has started working on the website of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The university reported this.
It is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Authors of the exhibition – senior researcher at KRSU, Doctor of Historical Sciences Olga Sumarokova and vice-rector of KRSU, Candidate of Historical Sciences Leonid Sumarokov.
«They filled the exhibition with archival documents and photographs that reveal an unknown page in the history of the parliament of the young Soviet republic – the combat activities of people's representatives on the fronts of the battle against fascism. The exhibition allows us to assess the role and place of the deputy corps in solving responsible government problems, to demonstrate the unity and cohesion of the multinational people of the USSR, their unprecedented patriotism, and the professionalism of Soviet military leaders», – informed at the university.
Many of the documents are presented at the exhibition for the first time. The exhibition will allow a remote visitor to take an educational tour among virtual stands.
