Doctor of Law Aidar Dzhumagulov spoke about the ideology of pan-Turkism and the danger of its modern manifestations.

An international conference was held at KRSU «Institutions of power and law of the peoples of Eurasia in the XIII-XIX centuries» with the participation of scientists and lawyers from Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

In the program «Special emphasis» on Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, Dzhumagulov reported that the founder of the idea of pan-Turkism was a prominent public figure of the 19th century, educator and publicist Izmail bey Gasprinsky (Ismail Gaspraly).

«Today, the ideas of pan-Turkism come from Turkey, and the so-called project «Turan», which they want to unite the Turkic peoples, is in fact a transformed idea of the revival of the Ottoman Empire. Therefore, we need to be more careful when broadcasting pan-Turkism in this format», dzhumagulov emphasized.
