A guy from Bishkek translated Minecraft into Kyrgyz

Atay Azamatov, a third-year student at the Department of Journalism of KRSU, initiated the translation of the cult game Minecraft into the Kyrgyz language. His work was highly appreciated by the developers — in the latest update of the game, the official Kyrgyz translation is already available to users around the world.

Atay tried to contact the organizers of the game during his school years, but only in May last year it worked out. He began the translation around the same time. This is an important event for Kyrgyzstan and the development of the state language. Read more
