The prospects for the Russian language in the EAEU countries were discussed in Bishkek
On October 27, 2020, a round table «Russian language in the EAEU: development prospects» was held at the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic named after A. Osmonov, organized by the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, representatives of educational and scientific circles of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus took part in the round table.
As Viktor Nefedov, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Kyrgyz Republic, noted, the Russian language remains a link between the peoples of the EAEU countries. It is thanks to this language that business, scientific and cultural communication between representatives of various nations is possible.
Presentations were made by the curator of projects to promote the Russian language and Russian education of the representative office, Irina Tsareva, acting.
