FIRST NATIONAL RANKING OF UNIVERSITIES OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC
In February 2023, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter MES KR) announced the selection of organizations to conduct the 1st National Ranking of Universities of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter the Ranking).
Based on the results of this selection, the commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic declared the Public Fund «Agency for Quality Assurance in Education EdNet» (hereinafter referred to as EdNet) the winner and, accordingly, the operator of the Rating.
On September 4, 2023, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic issued an order № 4981/1 «On conducting the National Rating of Higher Educational Institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic», which instructed to conclude a Memorandum between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and EdNet on conducting the Rating, and instruct EdNet to begin conducting the Rating on October 1, 2023.
On September 13, 2023, a «Memorandum of Cooperation and Interaction between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Public Fund «Agency for Quality Assurance in Education «EdNet» was concluded between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and EdNet on the issue of conducting the National Rating of Higher Educational Institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic».
