This year, new admission rules have been introduced at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU). Internal exams have been cancelled, and applicants from Kyrgyzstan must submit a certificate of nationwide testing (ORT) and a document on secondary education to the admissions committee.
To enter the Faculty of Medicine, you must additionally take the subjects of chemistry and biology as part of ORT. In the context of high competition in the medical education market in Kyrgyzstan, the KRSU medical faculty offers a significant advantage: the opportunity to obtain a Russian diploma without the need to travel outside the country. Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU, Candidate of Biological Sciences Roza Karaeva, in an interview on Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, noted that the most important indicator of the prestige of the faculty is the demand for graduates.
