Recently, Housing Code deputy Leila Lurova proposed conducting a pathological autopsy only if violent death is suspected. Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev has already spoken out against this initiative.
On the air of Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, the head of the department of pathological anatomy of the KRSU, Mayra Akhmetova, noted that only an autopsy can show what the person was sick with, whether he was treated correctly and how the disease from which he died developed. This information is critical for the development of medicine.
