Professor Kuznetsov found a mini-poem by the Balkar poet about the city of Frunze-1956
Andrey Kuznetsov, professor at KRSU, is busy this sultry summer searching for interesting facts for his new textbook about the city of Frunze, as it was exactly 65 years ago.
Professor Kuznetsov reported to VB.KG about one of his finds in files of Frunze newspapers in 1956. This is – a poem by the famous Balkar poet, playwright and educator Issa Botashev (1925-1991) «To the city of Frunze».
The result was a natural declaration of love for our capital: «Wandering in the twilight of long alleys, I fell in love with you, the city under the mountains, into the columns of your tall poplars. Your wonderful and unique appearance will remain in my heart forever».
