From November 9 to 10, a scientific and methodological symposium on partnership between educational institutions was held at RUDN University (Moscow) «30 years of the CIS: educational partnership of educational institutions as an indispensable factor in the development of the humanitarian space of the Commonwealth of Independent States».
The purpose of the event is – increasing the efficiency of partnerships between educational institutions of the CIS member states for the development of the cultural and humanitarian space of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
On November 9, at a plenary session online, the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, academician Vladimir Nifadiev, made a report «The role of interstate universities in the CIS as a factor in the integration of education, science and culture». In his opinion, integration in the field of education should contribute to the preservation of the historically established community of peoples of the participating states, the free introduction of citizens to the values of national cultures, the creation of conditions and opportunities for the formation of a culture of interethnic communication, the formation of a common scientific, technological, economic and information space, expanding the possibility of training qualified specialists, certification of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel for various sectors of the economy, science, culture, education and social sphere.
IN. Nifadiev noted that Slavic universities, created on the initiative and with the direct participation of the Russian Federation, «have become beacons in the multifaceted, complex process of forming a unified educational space». Being interstate universities, they have been implementing this task in practice for almost three decades. The first among them was the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, created in 1993. V. Nifadiev told the participants of the symposium about the role of KRSU in the development of interstate cooperation during the session «The role of Russian-national (Slavic) universities, branches of universities, joint educational institutions in the development of the cultural and humanitarian space of the co-founder state», held on November 10.
